The Best Photo Gifts to Give This Christmas by Blogger Mudpie Fridays

Every year without fail we give some sort of personalised photo gift. It has almost become a Christmas tradition here in the Mudpie Friday’s household. This year, like last year it is even more important that we share our special moments with our loved ones. Just like so many other families over the last couple of years, many of our family and friends have missed the boys growing up. So when we do get together, those memories we are making deserve to be taken off our phones and created into gifts. This means that when we are apart they will always have a constant reminder of the fun and adventures we had together.

The popularity of photo gifts has been growing over the last few years and now there is so much choice, it can be difficult to narrow down the best photo gifts to give this Christmas. I am sharing with you our favourites, but regardless of what you choose, a CEWE photo gift will provide your loved ones with a unique and special gift.

1. A Beautiful CEWE PHOTOBOOK

A CEWE PHOTOBOOK had to be first on the list. There is so much flexibility when it comes to designing your photo book, so it must be the first mention! Available in a range of different sizes, paper and finishing options there is something to suit every budget. From family snaps to photographic art, it is possible to tell a beautiful personal story through the pages of a photo book. Perhaps it is replaying a special family holiday, the high jinks that you got up to with your mates at uni, the difficult but rewarding first year of parenthood that only your National Childbirth Trust friends can understand. Whatever story you are telling and the highly customisable, easy to use CEWE Creator Software allows you to configure the perfect book for your recipient.

2. A 2022 Calendar

When the boys were tiny we use to make photo wall calendar for our National Childbirth Trust friends. As we saw each other frequently, we would capture photos of the babies altogether which was a tradition that carried on as they grew into toddlers. It was lovely to see just how much they grew from one year to the next. The same can be done for special family moments, birthdays, anniversaries, traditions and days out captured year after year and shared with grandparents, uncles and aunts, cousins, brothers and sisters.

3. A Piece of Stunning Wall Art

Photographic wall art definitely deserves a place on this list. The only pictures we have hanging on our walls are photos we have taken of on our travels or those of the boys taken by a professional photographer. Wall art makes a wonderful gift that can be admired by the recipient each day. Again, there is so much choice that not only are you bound to find something that meets your budget requirements, there will also be something to suit the taste and style of your loved ones. From glossy acrylic prints to modern and contemporary framed photos to wood photo prints with a rustic feel. There really is something for everyone, and you will be giving the gift of a smile each time they walk into the room where the wall art is hung.

4. A Fantastic Photo Mug

Everyone always feels so much better in the morning when they have had their morning brew. Be that tea, coffee or something unusual and it always tastes better when it is out of your favourite mug. Even more so if that photo mug brightens up your day with a special memory. The school run in the rain is not so bad when you are remembering building sandcastles on the beach at sunset. Or perhaps your friends brought you a magic mug with a hilariously stupid photo that thankfully only appears went the liquid is hot. After all, what would your mother think if she saw it? Of course, you fain insult or embarrassment, you say you don't like it but secretly have a little giggle each time the incriminating photo appears. Just as your friends know you would...

5. A Fun Photo Jigsaw

A photo jigsaw makes a great gift, especially for the older generations. They are also a great crowd pleaser when you are all sitting down after Christmas Dinner. The whole family can get involved trying to piece it together as they relax with full tummies. We have a little challenge in our family where we purposefully try to take a challenging photo. Such as in the woods, by the beach with lots of blue sky and sea, a mass of flowers, all the same, anything that will make for a more complex challenge. A photo jigsaw is a great way to get your own back on that member of the family that likes to play practical jokes! The only thing holding you back is the limit on your imagination… Baked Beans anyone?

6. Creative Cards & Stickers

Don't forget that you can complement your photo gift with a Christmas card or stickers. Every year we always design a card with a picture of the boys in their Christmas jumpers to send to family, friends and relatives. With 120 different designs to choose from as luxurious foiled cards through to postcards, you’ll look forward to creating your new set year after year!

And Finally…Merry Christmas!

There really is such a wide range of photo gifts available, all unique and meaningful. No matter what you choose, I am sure it will bring a smile to the recipients face this Christmas time.
